Art Therapy
Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy which offers a unique way to explore your inner world beyond words. In my practice, it is both inquiry-based and process driven. Meaning we focus less on creating something ‘good’ and more on what unfolds as you engage with the materials.
How does it work:
Art therapy uses creative expression to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences that can be hard to put into words. By working with materials, what’s happening internally can take shape externally, making it easier to reflect on, understand, and process at your own pace. There is no ‘art skill’ required.
The Format:
Online or Face to Face. I am based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, and can travel to provide outreach services for NDIS clients.
What does a session look like:
Sessions run for 60 or 90 minutes with adults, children and young people. We work together to explore your experience in creative ways. I will support throughout the process and offer invitations, reflections and observations to further deepen the process.
