Mental Health First Aid - Accredited Training

Accredited training designed to build skills, confidence, and compassion in responding to mental health challenges.

As an accredited MHFA Instructor, I deliver Mental Health First Aid training to organisations, community groups, and workplaces. This internationally recognised program equips participants to:

  • Recognise the signs of common mental health conditions

  • Approach and support someone in crisis with confidence

  • Connect individuals with appropriate professional help

  • Reduce stigma and foster safer, more compassionate environments

Who is this for?

MHFA training is designed for any workplace, community group, or organisation wanting to better support the mental health and wellbeing of their people. No previous experience is required—just a willingness to learn.

What I bring to the sessions:

I bring extensive experience working across diverse settings, including rehabilitation centres, mental health hospitals, prisons, and forensic units. This depth of experience means I understand the realities people face when living with mental health challenges, addiction, and trauma.

My approach to Mental Health First Aid training is practical, engaging, and trauma-aware, drawing on my background as an art psychotherapist and mental health clinician. Sessions feel safe, relevant, and accessible for any group or organisation.
